This book is a compendium of five years of performance work by the Vancouver-based artist David Khang. He took as a starting point for his work three 1960 compositions of La Monte Young. Three writers—Candice Hopkins, Larissa Lai, and Rinaldo Walcott—give critical perspectives on the three sets of performances. The book is 80 pages long, black and white with a colour section of images in the centre. The images are a mixture of photos taken from performances and images that Khang used as part of his creative process in developing these works. An updated second edition is planned for Spring 09.
