A proposed magazine for the post-oil age, Urban Plan promotes green high-density living and city survival strategies in a format appealing to urbanites. Articles are sourced from several publications: the information comes from cities all over the world and from people in many different circumstances. The magazine encourages city-dwellers to consider the coming era of oil scarcity and start implementing plans today. The mood is hopeful and the focus is on inspiring positive change.

Mark Reynolds and I shared all roles in developing this project, including: concept development, research, article selection and editing, art direction, photo/illustrations (except where credited to other photographers), layout and hand-binding the comps. We hand-silkscreened the "spot varnish" on the cover, below.
